Google have a great little programme that is FREE and allows you to goto places on Earth without leaving the confines of your computer chair!! Have you always wanted to see the Grand Cannion or the streets of New York? then now you can and all in 3D too!!
XmailHardDrive is a great way of storing all the files you would ever need on the internet, it uses a Gmail acount as its back bone and is available from any computer int he world wi thinternet access.
Because it uses your Gmail acount to store the information you will have over 2 gig or storage space to use.
So why would you use XmailHardDrive? well I can think of loads of reasons lets say you had a birthday party and you would like to share your pictures, just upload the pictures to your Gmail account via the XmailHardDrive website using your Gmail username and password, when you go over to your friends house you can go back to the XmailHardDrive website, Log-In and you friend can download what pictures they want.
The URL of XmailHardDrive is http://www.xmailharddrive.com/ just go there Log-In with your Gmail username and Password and start uploading you pictures, videos, music or what ever you like. So next time you are on holiday and your cameras memory chip is full goto the nearest internet cafe login to XmailHardDrive and upload your pictures, then you can keep snapping for the rest of your holiday without buying another memory card

Gmail Aliases is a great way of stopping SPAM and is very easy to use.
Lets say your Gmail address is jimmywhite@gmail.com you goto a website that has a great game on it but to download the game they require you to enter your Emaila address, you know that you are going to get SPAM if you give thenm your Gmail address so what do you do?
Well that is easy with Gmail aliases give them your Gmail address but add an alias to it for example jimmywhite+game@gmail.com (any word after the + is an alias) now onto filtering SPAM with this alias.
Log inot your Gmail account at Http://mail.google.com and click onto settings, then click onto the filters tab at the top of the page, click Create a new filter.
In the to field add your Gmail address with the alias jimmywhite+game@gmail.com adn click next step, now tick the box that says Move it to the Trash and click create filter.
Now when they try and send you SPAM mail it will go straight to your trash folder.
You may of heard the word Gmail around on the internet over the last year or so an wondered what it is, well Gmail is a new web based Email client from Google, it is very similar to those of Yahoo and Hotmail but Gmail has a differance!
Not only do Gmail offer you over 2gig or Email storage they have built in some clever features to their Email client like conversation and aliases.

Those clever guys and gals over at Google have made a clever little thing called Google Moon based on their Google Earth project.
They have plotted on a small map of the moon all of the Apollo Moon landings, just don’t zoom in too close as your eyes may go a little funny!!!
